Jeannette "Janina" Ida Maskell
August 16, 1920 — April 26, 2018
Jeannette I. Maskell (nee Boksz) passed away on April 26, 2018. Born in Baltimore, Canton Fells Point area on August 16, 1920 of Polish immigrant parents, Ida Mazalewski and Kazmirez Boksz, who came to America in 1905-1907. Jenny was one of five children: Anna Smith, Adam Boksz, John Boksz (Bucks) and Marie Lewinski the youngest of the children. Her mother, Ida, died in 1928 and her father in 1941. Jenny married Howard Maskell in 1938. In 1939 Marlene Glinski was born, 1941 Regina “Jeannie” Quinn, and in 1949 Howard Jr. Howard Sr. died in 1985, Howard Jr. in 2017. She was a homemaker who loved to cook and bake. She went to live at Hart Heritage Assisted Living in 2017. She is survived by her two daughters, Regina “Jeannie” Quinn and Marlene Glinski; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many loving friends.
