Irene Matilda Mcnamee

Irene Matilda McNamee, age 84, of Bel Air, MD passed away on February 19, 2013 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Francis Marion and Barbara Matilda Frankowski and wife of the late Michael Neal McNamee Sr. She had worked as the librarian for Harford Memorial Hospital in their Medical Records Department. An avid reader, she was a great cook and artist, and being first generation Polish, she spoke three different languages. She very much enjoyed being a part of her grandchildren's lives.

Mrs. McNamee is survived by her son, Michael N. McNamee Jr. and wife, Susan; daughter, Barbara M. Schenk and husband, Jack; grandchildren, Amy E. Schenk, Michael Neal McNamee III, Patrick T. McNamee, Stephen P. McNamee and Michael J. Schenk and wife, Laura M; and great-granddaughter, Ariana Mary Schenk.
