Hilda V. Hackett

February 9, 1913 — March 12, 2011

Hilda V. Hackett, age 98, of Aberdeen, MD, died on March 12, 2011 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Milton Calvert and Elizabeth Ann Fryfogle Tegeler. She was a resident of Catonsville prior to moving to Harford County where she resided for 17 years. She was a strong, independent, and loving person, a good cook and very crafty, doing crochet and knitting.

Ms. Hackett is survived by her son, William E. Armacost and wife, Kathleen, of Aberdeen, MD; daughter, Elizabeth A. Schaper and husband, Arnold, of Aberdeen, MD; five grandchildren, William Armacost of Havre de Grace, MD, Shawn Juergens of Rising Sun, MD, Deborah Lynn Schaper of Aberdeen, MD, Nina E. Stup of Glen Burnie, MD, and Karen A. Hiob of Darlington, MD; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers and one sister.
