Helen R. White

Helen R. White, age 93, of Abingdon, MD passed away on December 26, 2016 at Awakenings Assisted Living in Bel Air, MD. Born in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of Eugene LeClerc and Polly Roberts (Hughes) Rippard, and was the wife, for 56 years, of the late Allen Larue White. She was a proud Navy wife and loved her family very much.

Helen is survived by two sons, Charles D. White and wife, Crystal, and Allen L. White, Jr. and wife, Mary; daughter, Karen A. White Carapezza and husband, Dennis; 10 grandchildren, Ben, Andrew, Rebekah and Lincoln White, Sarah Yox, Benjamin, Jenna, Joshua, David and Kate Carapezza; and 11 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Linda C. White.

Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a later date.
