Helen M. Young

HELEN M. HODGES YOUNG, age 94, of Joppa, died at her home on January 19, 2003. Born in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Finneghan and Grace Victoria Beall Hodges and the wife of the late Louis Young. She graduated from the Jacob Tome Institute in Port Deposit, Maryland. She was an avid bowler, gardener, and cook.

Mrs. Young is survived by two brothers, Joseph B. Hodges of Aberdeen; and Walter S. Hodges of Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Young is predeceased by two sisters, Zora Mason and Virginia Andrew and a brother, Frank Hodges.

Pallbearers will be: Gary Wilson, Ron Wilson, Don Wilson, Johnny Hughes, Tim McNamara, and Burt Blimline.
