Harry Joseph Brady Sr.

HARRY JOSEPH BRADY, SR., age 76, of Churchville, MD, died at Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD, on September 16, 2007. Born in New York City, New York, he was the son of the late Henry Joseph and Elsie Grace Morgan Brady. He served as a Division Sergeant Major in the 42nd Rainbow Division of the Army National Guard of New York, and in law enforcement as a detective for the Port of New York and the New Jersey Authority, and a Lieutenant for the Maryland Port of Administration. He was past president of IAATI/Northeast IAATI. He served as a scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 99, Brooklyn, New York and was vice president of the Chihuahua Club of Maryland.

Mr. Brady is survived by his wife, Alice A. Tollefsen Brady of Churchville, MD; seven children, Elsa DeVita and her husband, James DeVita, of Hastings on Hudson, NY, Harry J. Brady, Jr. and his wife, Peggy Mazur, of Spring Lake, NJ, Dennis Brady, Sr. and his wife, Carol Brady, of Bethpage, NY, Garry Brady and his wife, Michele Brady, of Bel Air, MD, Colleen Denny and her husband, Randy Denny, of Bel Air, MD, Kevin J. Brady and his wife, Mary Brady, of Friendsville, PA, and Robert Hasbrouck and his wife, Mary Hasbrouck, of Plainview, NY; two daughters-in-law, Mary Fran Brady of Plainview, NY and Rebecca Brady of Abingdon, MD; twenty grandchildren, Katharine Denny and her husband, Richard Denny, of Havre de Grace, MD, Mary Kay Schaller and her husband, Tommy Schaller, of Aberdeen, MD, Dennis Brady, Jr. and his wife, Christine Brady, of North Massapequa, NY, Beth Anne Maurer and her husband, Kyle Maurer, of Holyoke, MA, Sarah DeVita and her partner, Tanya Evans, of Balimore, MD, Harry J Brady, III of Alexandria, VA, Paul Brady, and his wife, Daniela Brady, of Bethpage, NY, Amy Dell’Isola and her husband, Bobby Dell’Isola, of Babylon, NY, Matthew Denny and his wife, Jennifer Denny, of Bel Air, MD, Timothy Brady and his wife, Michelle Brady, of Bethpage, NY, Joanna Aranda and her husband, Leo Aranda, of Hastings on Hudson, NY, Michelle Denny of Bel Air, MD, Victoria DeVita of Hastings on Hudson, NY, Nicole Brady of Bethpage, NY, Morgan Denny of Bel Air, MD, Julia DeVita of Hastings on Hudson, NY, Justin Brady of Bel Air, MD, Devin Brady of Friendsville, PA, Kiara Brady of Friendsville, PA, and Michael Mazur of New York, NY; and eight great grandchildren, Kerrigan Mauer of Holyoke, MA, Caitlin Brady of North Massapequa, NY, Nicholas Brady of Bethpage, NY, Rory Mauer of Holyoke, MA, Mason Denny of Bel Air, MD, Dennis Brady, III of North Massapequa, NY, Victoria Brady of Bethpage, NY, and James Denny of Havre de Grace, MD.
