Gopaldas Jivanlal Mehta

Gopaldas Jivanlal Mehta, age 71, of Abingdon, MD, died on August 6, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, he was the son of the late Jivanlal Ranchodji Mehta and Sushila Jivanlal Parikh Mehta.

Mr. Mehta is survived by his wife of 47 years, Pushpa Gopaldas Mehta of Abingdon, MD; sons, Yogesh G. Mehta of Vadodara, India and Hitesh G. Mehta of Abingdon, MD; daughters, Bina M. Shah of Baltimore, MD and Leena S. Desai of Middle River, MD; brother, Dinesh J. Mehta of Stuart, FL; sisters, Kokila J. Parikh of Abingdon, MD, Smita V. Shah of Cari, NC, Vasudha R. Parimu of Greenville, NC, Neeta P. Das of Washington, NJ, and Jyotibala P. Vithlani of Greensboro, NC; and seven grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Indira S. Chokshi.
