Gloria Neubauer Bailey

Gloria N. Bailey died peacefully on April 29, 2021 at the age of 93 years. Gloria was born on November 28, 1927, the fourth child of George Clarence Neubauer and Mary Belle (nee) Holland Neubauer. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Kenneth Watts Bailey; her parents; three older siblings, Robert, Clarence, and Mary Louise; and her niece, Mary Kay Vaughn.

Gloria had a deep faith and loved her husband, family, friends, and her church. She attended St. Bernard's School in Baltimore and earned a full scholarship to Trinity Preparatory High School in Ellicott City. Upon graduation, Gloria attended nursing school until she and Ken married in 1947, and then worked as an Office Manager for Dr. Ted Kardash for over 33 years. When Gloria and Ken moved from Baltimore to Bel Air, MD in 1967, she joined St Margaret's Catholic Church and devoted herself to parish life and ministry, attending daily Mass and giving over 50 years of service where she served as a Sacristan and Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of Maryland Golf and Country Club and enjoyed doing needlepoint.

Gloria is survived by 3 generations of loving nieces and nephews, and other extended family, as well as dear friends David and Colleen George, and their daughters, Annie George Puskar and family, and Sarah George.
