Glen Deel

Glen Deel, age 61, of Bel Air, MD, died on March 21, 2011 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of Killow Harden and Theresa Kilmurray Deel of Bel Air, MD. He made his career in sales and loved to play golf, garden, and cook. He also loved matching wits with others, spending time with his family, and "granddadding", and considered by some to be the "greatest uncle in the world."

Glen is survived by his daughter, Athena Gaalswyk and husband, Ken, of Silver Spring, MD; twin brother, Gary Deel of Joppatowne, MD; sisters, Carol Ann Deel of Joppatowne, MD, Diane M. Dugan of Jarrettsville, MD, and Catharine Dunkes of Bel Air, MD; and grandchildren, Evan and Davis Gaalswyk.

Pallbearers will be Ken Gaalswyk, Chris Dunkes, Phil Reeves, Joe Dugan, Elliott Roy, and Bryce Dunkes.
