Gilbert F. Kennedy Jr.

Gilbert F. Kennedy Jr., age 89, of Nottingham, MD passed away on October 26, 2018 at GBMC in Towson, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Gilbert Fidelis and Margaret Katherine (Seeders) Kennedy and husband of the late Virginia Ashley (Heng) Kennedy. He was a property insurance executive in the greater Baltimore area. In his younger years Gil liked to travel, square dance, and spent time in his second home in Ocean City, MD. While a resident at Brightview Independent Living, Gil enjoyed choral singing, playing cards, bingo, and completing board puzzles. He also enjoyed his monthly breakfast at Friendly’s with his son.

Mr. Kennedy is survived by son, Gilbert F. Kennedy, III of Bel Air and his wife, Ellen; daughter, Sherron A. Clark of Belcamp; sister, Dorothy Stambaugh of Bel Air; grandchildren, Jennifer Hanna and her husband, Rusty, Michele Clark, Lauren Kennedy, Brendan Kennedy, and Megan Heaney and her husband, Ryan; great grandchildren, Alyssa Kay and Christian Auld.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law and two sisters.
