Gertrude P. Tart

Gertrude P. Tart, age 94, of Fallston, MD passed away on April 21, 2018. Born in Benson, NC, she was the daughter of Cirby Leonard and Lily Florence (Capps) Pollard and was the wife of the late Paul Hood Tart. She was a long time member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and loved gardening and cooking. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Tart is survived by three daughters, Barbara T. Luhrman of Fallston, Frances Allen of North East and Brenda S. Smoot of Fallston; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Mae Honeycutt of NC.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Tart.
