George W. "Bill" Burrill Sr.

George Bill Burrill Sr. of Parkville and Taylors Island, MD passed away on October 16, 2018 at the home of his loving daughter, Suzanne. Born in Baltimore, MD, on November 16, 1927, he was the son of James and Florence (Wilson) Burrill and loving devoted husband of 59 years to the late Mary (Horner) Burrill. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a hard working grocery store manager for over 40 years for A&P Food Stores. Bill spent his retirement years with Mary on Taylors Island as an avid fisherman and volunteer ambulance driver for the Taylors Island Volunteer Fire Company.

Bill was a loving father and is survived by his children, George (Bill) William Burrill Jr. and wife Nancy, Theresa Lacko and husband Michael, David Burrill and wife Renee, Laura Schuelke and husband Kevin and Suzanne Ray and husband Michael; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Burrill and sisters, Elizabeth Green and Margaret Frye.
