Franklin D. Duty

Franklin D. Duty, age 85, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on April 6, 2022 at his home. Born in Welch, West Virginia, he was the son of Muncy and Octavia (Roberts) Duty and husband of  Carolyn Duty. He was married for 54 years.  He retired in 1998 from Bethlehem Steel where he worked for 40 years.  He enjoyed fishing.  He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Franklin is survived by five sisters, Shirley Gilley, Lois Storm, Brenda Kriens, Virgie Layton and Helen Peters; and a brother, Muncy Duty, Jr.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Beulah Rash.
