On February 19, 2010, Frances May( Howard) Rood, formerly of Baltimore, Maryland. Wife of the late John C. Rood, mother of James E. Rood, Sr. and the late Shirley Gardner, and grandmother of James,Jr., Dawn, Thomas, Brent, Corey, Christopher, Amanda, Tera and Jennifer. Viewing will be held Sunday February 21, 2010 at the Kurtz Funeral Home, 1114 Baldwin Mill Road, Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084 from 7-9 PM. Due to the snow the funeral service will be held Saturday February 27, 2010 at 9:30 AM from the Kurtz Funeral Home. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Baltimore, Maryland.
