Fran Snyder

Fran Snyder, age 77, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on April 26, 2021 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, she was the daughter of Ethel (Schnable) and Alben Brazes and wife of 57 years to Ronald Allen Snyder. She graduated from Slatington High School in Pennsylvania, Class of 1962. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and a longtime member of the former Lord of Life Lutheran Church. She retired in 2005 from the Harford Bel Air Community Mental Health Center, where she worked in the Human Resources department for over 20 years. She enjoyed playing Bunco, reading, traveling with her son and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother and husband, Fran is survived by her son, Jeff Snyder of Abingdon; daughter, Kami Snyder of Rehoboth Beach, DE; two sisters, Diane (Steve) Trainer and Pat Solt; brother-in-law, Russ Snyder; and grandchildren, Brandon, Hope, Nicole, and Kendall Cordner.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Brazes.
