Florence Rita Oktavec

FLORENCE RITA OKTAVEC, age 87, of Bel Air, MD, died on July 6, 2007 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Aleksandra Sumowski Kuczynski. She worked as a lab assistant in research. She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church in Bel Air and her family said she enjoyed flowers.

Mrs. Oktavec is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bernard Martin Oktavec Sr. of Bel Air, MD, who is a WWII Army veteran; two sons, Bernard “Boh” Oktavec and his wife, Joan, of Street, MD, and Ronald Oktavec of Westminster, MD; three grandchildren, Cheryl Braerman and her husband, Eric, of Forest Hill, MD, Craig Oktavec and his wife, Kristen, of Forest Hill, MD, and Kim Crane and her husband, Britt, of Charlotte, NC; and two great-grandchildren, Mitch and Will Oktavec, both of Forest Hill, MD. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by eleven brothers and sisters.
