Florence E. Gunther Spealman

Florence E. Gunther Spealman, age 89, of Edgewood, MD, died on June 21, 2011 at her home. Born in Edgewood, MD, she was the daughter of the late Frederick William and Rosa Marie Coulter Gunther and wife of the late August Morris Spealman. A lifelong resident of Edgewood, she had worked for Harford County Public Schools as a cafeteria attendant and was a member of the Edgewood American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and since 1995, the Golden Age Club in Edgewood. She loved playing bingo, and enjoyed her flowers and watching hummingbirds.

Mrs. Spealman is survived by her son, August W. Spealman and wife, Tina A., of Street, MD; daughter, Charlotte Marie Spealman of Edgewood, MD; four grandchildren, Belinda M. Spealman of Darlington, MD, Melissa A. Ritter and husband, Ed, of Perry Hall, MD, Tonya M. Berry and husband, Scott, and Christopher Spealman, all of Street, MD; and seven great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Kimberly Kelley, Taylor, David, and Jordan Berry, Christian Spealman Ritter, and Dillen Greer.

Pallbearers will be Dewey Berry, Larry Gilespie, Chris Spealman, Ed Ritter, Aloha Miller, and Scott Berry.
