Eunice L. Hooper

Eunice L. Hooper, age 76, of Bel Air, MD, died on June 12, 2011 at her home. Born in Upper Fairmount, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Baines and Jeanette Josephine Goyette Hinks and wife of the late James Marion Hooper. A resident of Harford County for over 40 years, she frequented Oak Hill, FL, continuing relationships that were important to both herself and her late husband, of 31 years, J.M. Hooper, who was the founder and president of Harford Sanitation Services at which she worked for over 20 years. She supported many missions, such as Shriners, Goodwill, and Purple Heart, and was an animal rights advocate. She enjoyed doing ceramics and was a natural at interior decorating. Along with her son, she was also cared for by her nieces and nephew, Jenny Smullen, Tina Spealman, and Bill Smullen.

Mrs. Hooper is survived by her son, Robert Lee Doss II of Bel Air, MD; sister, Veronica Smullen of Havre de Grace, MD; grandson, Joseph Alan Doss of Delta, PA; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by six brothers and three sisters.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Doss, Justin Palmer, Brian Anders, Bill Smullen, Chris Hildenbrant, and Chris Spealman.
