Eugene Pierce Davis Sr.

Eugene Pierce Davis Sr., age 84, of Jarrettsville, MD passed away peacefully on November 5, 2018 at his home. He was born in Belfont, PA and was the son of William John and Mary Thelma (Colborn) Davis. He was a member of Centre United Methodist Church for more than 50 years. He was an avid square dancer, he played in a Drum and Bugle Corp, the "Rebel Yankees" and he enjoyed camping. He also piloted his own airplane. Eugene loved the Lord and was known for his love for his family.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 67 years, Bessie (Lampkin) Davis; daughter, June Frey of Seaford, DE; three sons, Eugene Pierce Davis Jr. of Jarrettsville, and his wife, Lynn, Garrett Colin Davis of Zepher Hills, FL, and his wife, Terri, and Steven Douglas Davis of Jarrettsville; three granddaughters, Christina Ross, Paula Miller, and Jamie Davis; four grandsons, Mike Davis, Jacob Davis, Eugene P. Davis III, and Ken Davis; nine great grandchildren, Christian Sagandoy, Rachael Miles, Leila Miles, Savannah Sagandoy, Johnathan Sagandoy,Corina Clayton, Eugene P. Davis IV, Ashlyn McArdle, and Aubree McArdle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Behlert and brother, William B. Davis; son-in-law, James Harold Frey.
