Esther Belle Oliphant

Esther Belle Oliphant, age 92, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on March 5, 2021 at Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Champ, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Lola (Davis) McDaniel and wife of the late Joseph Charles Oliphant, Sr.

In her younger years, she was active in the Eastern Star. She helped serve breakfast at the senior center in Harford County and she enjoyed dancing there as well.

Esther is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Voelker; son, Joseph Oliphant, Jr.; grandchildren, Harry, Joseph, Robert, and Timothy Oliphant, Gina Hunt, Edward Oliphant, Jr., Christy Olsen, Nicole Voelker, Michael Suprik, Jr., Eli Dudok, and Cullen Oliphant; and sister, Virginia Romano. She was very close to her niece, Rhonda Thorpe.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her children, Harry Oliphant Edward Oliphant, Deborah Dudok; and her siblings, Linwood McDaniel, Pauline Oxendine, Alice Thorpe, Willard McDaniel, and Wallace McDaniel.
