Erma Lois Frock

Erma Lois Lyon Frock, widow of Louis B. Frock, died on January 1, 2015. She was the eighth of ten children and is survived by sisters Stella Lyon, Chapel Hill, NC; Shirley Wolfe, Forest Hill, MD; and Barbara Franklin, Greenville, SC and 16 nieces and nephews. In addition there are three stepchildren: Paul Frock, Glenn Frock and Janet Frock Semerand along with their 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Erma was very active in church work, first at Loch Raven Baptist Church, where she worked with the youth, later at Oak Grove Baptist Church, where she served in the nursery, was a member of the benevolence committee and worked tirelessly in church activities. She and her husband, Louis B. Frock, helped to launch the Oak Grove Baptist Quartet and often traveled with the quartet, handling sales of their recordings.
