Edward "Eddy" Donald Arnold

Edward "Eddy" Donald Arnold, age 78, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on October 31, 2022.

Born on March 12, 1944, in Rocks, Maryland, he was the son of the late Sherman and Agnes (Daughton) Arnold.

Eddy was a jack of all trades. He helped his children out frequently with their cars while restoring some of his own. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed time on the golf course as well as time at his property in PA. Eddy had his own vegetable garden he enjoyed caring for. When Eddy wasn’t out doing one of his many hobbies, he was at home eating crabs with his family.

Eddy is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Arnold; daughter, Cheryl Jacobs (Allen); three sons, Micheal Ables (Lois), Ricky Arnold (Shelly), Randy Arnold; six grandsons, Scott Bruce, Ricky Arnold, Jr., Justin Ables, Tristin Hess, Matthew Jacobs, Randy Arnold, Jr.; three granddaughters, Rachel Arnold, Amanda Extein, Becca Norris; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Funeral Home, Abingdon, Maryland on Sunday, November 6, 2022, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Services will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Emmorton Baptist Church at 6:00 pm. Interment will take place in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Michael Ables, Allen Jacobs, Matthew Jacobs, Scott Bruce, Brad Bruce and Greg Woerner.
