Edsel Alfred Spellman Jr.

Edsel (Ed) A. Spellman Jr. lost his long courageous battle with cancer Sunday December 6th, 2020. Born on September 27, 1961 to Edsel and Janice Spellman he was the first of three children. A graduate of Edgewood High School, Ed took to woodworking and carpentry. In 1986 he married the love of his life Donna Wacker. In 1992 Ed began Spellman Construction and worked through to his illness. Ed was blessed with two children Jessica and Eddie. An avid hunter, Ed spent free time in the woods and on many trips with friends hunting. In 2011 Ed joined Mt. Ararat Lodge #44 AF&AM. Since then has risen through the ranks to The Worshipful Master. Ed was also a 32 degree Mason and was a founding member of Scottish Rite Valley of Susquehanna. Ed continued in Boumi Shriners, Tall Cedars, Knights of St. Andrew and was past Commander of York Rite Maryland #1. Ed’s brother Masons and charity work as well as his family is what he loved most in this world. Ed was blessed with his first grandson in May 2020.

In addition to his wife Donna, he is survived by his Mother Janice Spellman (McMillan) of Bel Air, his son Eddie and girlfriend Elizabeth Graham, daughter Jessica Jolly and her husband Alex, grandson Bentley and faithful dog Mason all of Forest Hill. Also survived by two siblings.

He is predeceased by his father Edsel A. Spellman Sr..
