She made three recordings which include many of her piano arrangements. She also distinguished herself in an equally long and successful career as a private piano teacher, during which she taught hundreds of students and served as a founding member of the Harford Co. Piano Teachers Association. She enjoyed camping, reading the newspaper, and discussing religion and politics.
Edith is survived by her son, Christopher (Anysia) Boggs; daughters, Cherie (Herb Jr.) Pace, Laurie Boggs, Debbie (Bob) Mallory; grandchildren, Melody (Steven) Ghirardello; great-grandsons, Elijah Ghirardello, Micah Ghirardello; brother, William Frances Herrman. She is also survived by two grandsons on the way, Peter Joseph Boggs and Walter Harold Boggs, and many loving nieces and nephews.
