Edith Frances Eveland

EDITH FRANCES EVELAND, age 80, of Edgewood, MD, died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD on January 9, 2003. Born in Barren Springs, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Dew and Thelma Edna Dotson Ogle and the wife of the late Daniel F. Eveland. She had worked as a nursing assistant for 20 years at the Perry Point VA Hospital, Perry Point, MD. A resident of Harford County, Maryland since 1952, she was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Eveland is survived by one son, Jerry W. Cook of Galax, Virginia; one daughter, Deborah C. Farrand of Forest Hill, Maryland; one brother, Ralph W. Ogle of Max Meadows, Virginia; one sister, Ruth Pauline Jackson of Hartville, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Christopher Carrico; Matthew Carrico; Tamara Kirby; Justin Cook; three great-grandchildren, Chad Reeves; Megen Kirby; and Seth Kirby. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, Howard Ogle; Malcolm D. Ogle; Robert P. Ogle; and one sister, Mildred Hedrick.
