Eddie W. Johnson

Eddie W. Johnson, 89, of Edgewood, MD, formerly of Peabody, KS, passed away on January 20, 2015 at his home. Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Barclay William Johnson and Minnie Wunderlik Johnson. He retired, after 20 years, from the U.S. Navy before working at the Virginia Department of Highways. A resident of Maryland for one year, he enjoyed fishing and going to the casinos.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his son, Eddie P. Johnson and wife, Cathy Ann, of Edgewood; brother, Harold James Johnson of California; sisters, Marion Marie Waco of Michigan, Mae Dean Mable Blankley of Kansas, Lois Ann Rappun of Michigan and Joyce Flora Parson of Nevada; grandchildren, Shane Patrick Johnson and Amy Brooke Johnson; great-grandchildren, Hailee Sierra Johnson and Timothy Cole Johnson; daughter-in-law, Joyce Johnson of Virginia; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and longtime companion, Margret M. Maguire of Edgewood, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sons, Phillip Brooke Johnson and Mark Steven Johnson; brother, Richard William Johnson and sister, Ima Jean Rimby.
