Douglas Mcarthur Sutton, Sr.

DOUGLAS McARTHUR SUTTON, SR., age 61, of Darlington, died at his home on September 9, 2003. Born in Morgantown, West Virginia, he was the son of Loretta Elouise Helmick Sutton of Essex and the late George Thomas Sutton. He worked as superintendent of construction for Trionfo Builders. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He served his country in the U.S. Navy.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Sutton is survived by his wife, Sylvia Bubczyk Sutton; one son, Douglas McArthur Sutton, Jr. of Darlington; one daughter, Selina Schlichting of Parkville; three brothers, Lawrence Sutton of Pinetop, Arizona; Roland Sutton of Darlington; Paul Sutton of Mesa, Arizona; one sister, Bonnie Meekins of Baltimore; and six grandchildren. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by one brother, Thomas Sutton.
