Donna J. Champ

Donna J. Champ, age 64, of Edgewood, MD passed away on June 26, 2014 at Lorien Riverside where she resided for 17 years. Born in Frostburg, MD, she was the daughter of Rose Marie Winters Mansfield of Forest Hill and the late Roberts Barnard Wilt, and wife of the late James William Champ. A Harford County resident for 53 years, she graduated from Edgewood High School in 1969 and worked as a receptionist for Dr. Jack Reynolds Dentistry for 20 years before working briefly at Costco. She enjoyed crafts and microwave popcorn, but especially loved spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Champ is survived by her daughters, Laura J. McCormick, Kimberly D. Champ-Smith and husband, Tyrell, and Darlene M. Champ, all of Edgewood; brother, Timothy P. Mansfield of Conowingo; sisters, Marie Theresa Nelson of Ripon, WI, Patricia A. Forster of Joppa, Rose H. Jorgenson of Street, Elizabeth Idella Christian of Street and Kathleen A. Townsley of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren, Kyle, James, Michael, Gregory, Zachary, Toni Marie, C'embra, Matthew and Makalah; and great grandchildren, James, McKenna and Kayleigh.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Kyle, James, Michael, Gregory, Zachary, and Matthew, as well as Vance Dupree.
