Delores "Sis" Matthews

Delores "Sis" Matthews, age 91, of Kingsville, Maryland passed away on January 27, 2021 at her home. Born in Benson, Maryland, she was the daughter of Brinton and Isabella (Brown) Robinson and wife of the late Robert Matthews. She loved her church and was a member of Tabernacle UMC since she was 26 years old. She was very active in her church and held many positions there. Delores dearly loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She took care of everyone in the family.

Delores is survived by her stepdaughter, Anna McBride; daughter in law, Janice Matthews; grandchildren, Thomas M. Matthews and Ragon K. Matthews; great-grandchildren, Amber and Janae Matthews, Thomas II, Keyanna and Kenneth Matthews and Samuel McKisset; close cousin, Elizabeth Estella Bradley; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Matthews, brothers, James B. Robinson and Brinton D. Robinson, Jr., and sisters in law, Creola Robinson and Mary E. Robinson.
