David E. Foley, Jr

DAVID E. FOLEY, JR., age 70, of Edgewood, died on Monday, December 19, 2005 at Lorien Riverside. Born in Mt. Jackson, VA, he was the son of the late David Edward Foley, Sr., and Carrie E. Stauerdman Ritchie. He was married for 30 years to Ruth P. Beeman Foley of Edgewood. Mr. Foley retired after 27 years as an insurance agent with Monumental Life Insurance. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Foley is survived by two sons, David E. Foley, III of Harrisonburg, VA, and Donald G. Foley of North East; three daughters, Linda L. Swatling of Pasadena, Lisa M. Mock of Jarrettsville, and Lora L. Owens of Edgewood; one stepson, William T. Saneman of Bel Air; two brothers, John H. Foley of Mt. Jackson, VA, and Noah H. Foley of Roanoke, VA; one sister, Annie E. Smith of Salem, VA; and 12 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Nancy T. Saneman.

Pallbearers will be Michael Troy, David Mock, Greg Owens, Tim Saneman, Donald Foley, and Timmie Saneman.
