David ''Dave'' E. Emge

David "Dave" E. Emge, age 92, of Joppa, MD, died on October 6, 2009 at his home. Born in Baltimore County, MD, he was the son of the late George P. and Margaret Chenowith Emge, and husband, for 63 years, of the late Doris M. Chenoweth Emge. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during WWII. He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for 24 years and at Martin-Marietta for 12 years where he was a security guard.

Mr. Emge is survived by his sons, David J. Emge and wife, Patsy, of Chester, VA and Dale S. Emge and wife, Deborah, of Joppa, MD; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his sister, Cecilia Curtis.
