Daniel Samis

Daniel Samis, age 67, of Abingdon, MD passed away suddenly on September 1, 2018. Born in Lemon, SD, he was the son of George Irwin and Katherine Elizabeth (Hand) Samis. He served his country in the US Air Force for 29 years, and was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where he was active with the Knights of Columbus. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Samis is survived by former wife, Donna; son, Patrick George; daughter, Erika Anne; siblings, Joseph, Mark, James, Sean, Peter, Gregory, Kevin, and Judith; step brothers, Aaron and Benjamin; step mother, Jean; and cousin, Laura.
