Daniel "Danny" Lee Crouse

Daniel "Danny" Lee Crouse, age 66 of Abingdon, MD, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on November 17, 2019. Born October 23, 1953 in Havre De Grace, MD. He was the son of the late Allen and Gwendolyn (Gentry) Crouse and the husband of 46 years to Kathy (Mathias) Crouse.

In Danny's younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed cutting timber following in his father's footsteps, until an unfortunate accident left him confined to a wheelchair. Although he was in a wheelchair that did not stop him from enjoying many things in life. Danny enjoyed Nascar, Drag Racing, Custom Car Shows and the Baltimore Ravens. Most of all Danny enjoyed Evangelizing and preaching the word of God. He traveled many years to hold revivals in the mountains of North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia with people that he truly loved and who loved the Lord as much as him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Lori Grose of Elkton, MD, 3 grandchildren, Eric Grose of Abingdon, MD and Austin and Garrett Grose of Belair MD. He is also survived by Seven siblings, Belinda Maxfield of Jarrettsville, MD, Cathy Mayer and husband David of Peoria, AZ, Judy Gilbert and husband Steve of Abingdon, MD, Sandra Porter and husband Frank of Conowingo, MD, Richard Crouse and wife Debbie of Havre De Grace, MD, Donna Thompson and husband Jerry of Havre De Grace, MD and Lisa Brown and husband Dave of Havre De Grace, MD.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his Mother-In-Law Alice Mathias and his Brother-In-Law Thomas Ritchie Maxfield Sr.
