Cynthia Elaine Mcnew

Cynthia Elaine McNew, age 59, of Abingdon, MD passed away on July 29, 2019 at Gilchrist Hospice @ GBMC in Towson, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she is the daughter of Lula (Maynard) Szlasa and the late George Dutton. Cynthia enjoyed traveling with her husband and they were able to visit 35 states together. She also loved being on the beach reading a good book.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. McNew is survived by her husband, Mark Steven McNew; daughter, Shana (DJ) McGehee; son, Gregory (Kimberley) McNew; sister, Liz (Drew) Lericos; brother, George (Terry) Dutton, Jr.; step mother, Katie Dutton; grandchildren, Jax McGehee and Slade McGehee; father-in-law, Melvin McNew; and sister-in-law, Susan Myers.
