Charles "Chuck" S. Solomon

Charles "Chuck" S. Solomon, age 77, of Conowingo, Maryland passed away on August 28, 2020 at his home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Charles and Mildred (Nalls) Solomon. A veteran of the U.S. Army reserve, Charles worked as a Director of Property Accounting for CSX Railroad where he later retired in 2007 after 58 years. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren.

Charles is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sherry (Akers) Solomon; son, Charles Scott and his wife Jean Marie Solomon; daughter, Shelly Huggins and her husband Matthew Huggins; their 5 grandchildren Brandon Solomon, Morgan Solomon, Jordan Solomon, Kirstin Huggins and Nathan Huggins; and sister Mary Moon.

In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Kaufman.
