Catherine M. Davis

Catherine M. Davis, age 73, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on May 24, 2014 at Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Johanna M. Dosch Etzel and wife of the late Charles R. Davis Jr. A resident of Harford County for 38 years, she was a beloved voice, piano and guitar teacher who loved her students. She was an ordained minister, since 1991, at Church of God of Tennessee and was a worship leader at The Love of Christ Church of God since 1998. She loved to sew, paint and garden.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter, Jane P. Gurganious and husband, David A., of Glen Burnie; brothers, John Etzel of St. Leonard and Charles Etzel of Baldwin; sisters, Mary Bauer of Havre de Grace and Jane Lazarek of Glenville, PA; and two granddaughters, Eva J. Gurganious and Grace E. Gurganious.
