Carroll Eugene Burgess

Carroll Eugene Burgess, 80, of Edgewood, MD passed away on January 22, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Tazewell, VA, he is the son of the late Edward Lee and Mintie Evelyn Maynard Burgess. He worked as a steel roller for Bethlehem Steel every day and was proud of his time there. He loved dogs, cats and going camping.

Mr. Burgess is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dorothea Annette Burgess; daughters, Diane L. Burgess of Upper Falls and Evelyn A. Burgess of Aberdeen; seven grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 15 siblings. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, David "Byrd" Allen Burgess.
