Carol Ann Pace

Carol Ann Pace, age 71, of Jarrettsville, MD passed away on December 12, 2018 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Richard Leon and Hedwig Theresa Patchak. She worked for UMBC as an accountant, retiring about 3 years ago. Carol loved to cook and she was an avid bird watcher with a great interest in the outdoors and enjoyed going to the State Parks. She was in the Garden Club in Harford County. She was a den mother when her sons were in the Cub Scouts and she was involved in the recreation counsel when her sons played lacrosse. She also hosted the McDonald’s soccer tournament with her husband while her sons were active in sports.
Mrs. Pace is survived by her husband, Floyd Pace, whom she married in 1970; three sons, Daniel Robert Pace of Parkville, David James Pace of Parkville, and John Edward Pace of White Hall; grandson, Jacob Lee Pace; brother, Richard Patchak of Ellicott City; and several nieces and nephews.
