Bonnie Coleman Dufour

Bonnie Coleman Dufour, age 56, of Aberdeen, Maryland went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2022 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Bonnie was born in Towson, Maryland to Francis and Betty (Miller) Coleman She married the love of her life, Timothy Dufour in 1986. She had a great imagination for making a house a home and was a very talented cook.  Bonnie enjoyed taking care of others and had a gift for hospitality. Always a devoted mother, she home schooled her boys.  She loved designing and working in her flower garden. She was a woman of faith with a unique capability of discernment. She served as a secretary at Towne Baptist Church and most recently attended Carsins Run Baptist Church. She loved animals, especially her little dog Gracie. She loved fashion; her dresses, shoes, handbags, and jewelry. She enjoyed traveling to the parks and going for long walks with her family. 

In addition to her husband, Bonnie is survived by her sons, Curtis Matthew Dufour (Felicia) of Evans, GA, and Daniel Everett Dufour of Aberdeen, MD; sisters, Susan Wheeler, Barbara Schaum (Milton), Lois Heller (David), Judy Niehaus (Stephen), and Annette Freid (Alan); brother, Steven Wheeler (Judy); and grandchildren, Kathryn and Theodore "Teddy" Dufour. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews and missed by many loving extended family members.     

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her son, Brian Timothy Dufour, and brother, R. Ernest Wheeler.
