Betty J. Nickle

Betty J. Nickle, age 83, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on June 2, 2014 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Stewart, PA, she was the daughter of the late John R. Woodmancy and Jean B. McNair Petersen and wife of the late Samuel H. Nickle Jr.

Mrs. Nickle is survived by her sons, Michael Nickle of Aberdeen, Thomas Nickle of Richmond, VA, Larry Nickle of Havre de Grace, Gary Nickle of Aberdeen and Steven Nickle of Drayden; daughter, Patricia Nickle of Aberdeen; sister, Leah Simpson of FL; grandchildren, Marley Nickle, Aaron Nickle and Maya Nickle; great-granddaughter, Emily Nickle; step granddaughter, Amy Hussey and step great-grandchildren, Nathan and William Hussey; brothers-in-law Ed Halsey; Robert Nickle Sr.; sister-in-law Ruth Law; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Nickle volunteered with Martha's Meals and was a recipient of the Harford County's Most Beautiful People Award. She enjoyed going to Church and helping others. She will be missed by many and loved by those who knew her.
