Bernard Petty

Bernard Petty, age 86, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on February 15, 2021 at Young At Heart Assisted Living in Joppa, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Victoria (Kriss) Petty and husband of the late Madeline Petty. He worked for the Agere Company affiliated with AT& T Tele Communications.

Bernard is survived by his two sons, Michael R. Petty of Edgewood and his wife, Debbie and Bernard (Bernie) John Petty, Jr. of Middle River; granddaughters, Michelle Watring and Ashley; three grandsons, Richard (Richie) Alger, Eddie Petty and Bobby Petty; one great-granddaughter; brother, Charles Petty and his wife, Cathy; sister, Frances Price; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his seven sisters; four brothers; son, Brian Petty; and an infant daughter.
