Barbara E. Cottrill

Barbara E. Cottrill, age 89, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on August 16, 2022, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Harriet (Fink) White and wife of the late Paul Cottrill. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church for about 25 years. She really enjoyed spending time outside, tending to her yard and flower beds. She also enjoyed watching birds and wildlife. Barbara loved her Yorkie Poo, Cricket, dearly. She was a very loving grandmother. She always worried about her grandchildren and their wellbeing. She cherished any time she got to spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.     

Barbara is survived by her two sons, Charles (Pam) William Cottrill, Sr. of Port Deposit, MD, and Terry (Linda) Cottrill Sr. of Delta, PA; four grandchildren, TJ, Jennifer, Tanya (Kevin), Karen (Larry); granddaughter-in-law, Kelly; fourteen great grandchildren, Seth, Zoe, Bradley, Katlyn, Kerry, Phillip, Austin, Kendall, Rowan, Matthew, Ayden, Noah, Elijah, Tirzah.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward White; mother, Harriet Myrtle White; husband, Paul Cottrill; grandchild, Charles Jr.; one sister, and two brothers.
