Anne L. Moore

Anne Lee Moore, age 86, resident of Oak Crest Village and formally long-time resident of Jarrettsville, MD passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021. Anne was a proud graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame High School (IND) in Baltimore, MD. After a career in banking, she retired to spend time volunteering at local hospitals. She was a former parishioner of St. John’s the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hydes, MD, participating in the Prayer Shawl Ministry there. Anne took great pride in crocheting baby hats and blankets. After moving to Oak Crest, she enjoyed returning to her Alma Mater (IND) to teach students the art of crochet and she also enjoyed playing BINGO.

Anne was predeceased by her husband, Jay “Bud” Kenneth Moore, her brother, William Killian, and her parents William Frank and Elizabeth Mary, nee Schmidt, Killian.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and several Godchildren.
