Angela L. Cromwell

Angela Lorraine Cromwell, daughter of the late William Henry Cromwell Sr. (Billy) and Alma Elizabeth (Bea) Cromwell, was born on August 26, 1963. Angela completed her assignment and gained her wings on March 27, 2023 at University of Maryland of Baltimore, Maryland at the marvelous age of 59.

Angela, affectionately known as “Angie” or “Aunt Angie”, lived on Schucks Road in Bel Air, Maryland, and attended Churchville Elementary School, Bel Air Middle School, later attending Bel Air Senior High School. After missing a few months of school due to Sickle Cell Anemia, Angie ultimately graduated in June of 1982 from C. Milton Wright High School. She was best known for her playful mischievous personality and her notorious laugh throughout her high school years. Angie worked various jobs to include a sales associate at Sears, a travel agent on Aberdeen Proving Ground, a customer sales representative for Metris Companies and The Bargaineer newspaper, serving Harford and Cecil counties. Angie was hired as an employee of the Harford County Government, where she worked diligently as a Central Services Specialists, dedicating 17 years of service.

Angie enjoyed life and valued her peace, but make NO mistake, Angie may have been small in stature, but she wasn’t afraid to “use her hands OR feet,” as she would say often, earning her the nickname “Crazee Dog” by her close friends. She had a pretentious spirit that impacted everyone who was blessed to be in her presence, and she had the ability to alter anyone’s emotions and overall perspective on life, whether it would be through her words of wisdom, tough love or a slap upside the head (mostly for Teon). Angie embodied the spirit of the virtuous woman who reverenced, a woman of strength and perseverance, one who never allowed her health to hinder her from living her best life. A true woman of great faith with an immense love for Jesus Christ. She was a faithful member of John Wesley United Methodist Church and was a part of the United Methodist Women.

Angie enjoyed many things in life such as attending church services, bible study, reading, traveling, playing spades, crossword puzzles. She enjoyed watching her stories, the news, 48 hours and anything on Lifetime and the Hallmark channel. She was a member of an organization called the “Dog Pound,” a group of likeminded women whose mission was to bring unity within the community. She enjoyed playing various pranks on family, especially her siblings, and being in the company of family and friends, where she will be most remembered for her infectious laugh. Most importantly, Angie had a profound love for her children and absolutely adored her grandchildren, especially Noah and London. To the most amazing and supportive mother and the world’s best Nana, she will be deeply missed.

Angie is preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Bea Cromwell, a brother Mark Cromwell, and a niece Sherrice Cromwell.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her loving daughter Keiara Huff. Her wonderful son Teon Huff (Kathy), and a god son who she deeply considered her son, Damien Clark. Seven grandsons, Noah, Maximus, Milo, Kingston, Kai, Koby and Kameron Huff; one granddaughter, London Pinkett; three brothers, Charles (Cathy), William Jr. (Henry) and Jeffrey; two sisters, Dianne Cromwell and Linda Robinson (Terry); two sisters-in-law, Teri Cromwell and Cindy Cromwell; father in law Sherman Huff, Sr.; three nieces who were near and dear, Danita Cromwell, Jennifer Cromwell-Walker and Charda’ Cromwell; nephews and a niece who she deeply cherished, Sean and Shaliyah Whitaker; Michael and Andre’ Cromwell; one uncle, Albert Lewis Jr. (Margaret); one Aunt Martha Lewis; her best friends of over 30 years, Arlene Pounds, Myra Mayo and Erika Strickland; a mother-like figure, Dorina Strickland; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and godchildren.
