Alvina Anna Schneider

Alvina Anna Schneider, age 86, of Bel Air, MD passed away on February 12, 2019 at Jacobs Well Assisted Living in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Henry and Lena (DeVries) Bethke and wife of the late William Robert Schneider for 36 years prior to his passing. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1968. During her career she worked as a secretary at Martin Marietta for 12 years and at both Old Post and William Paca Elementary Schools for 25 years. She enjoyed making and selling quilts, doing puzzles, and volunteering for the Harford County Health Department Senior Tax Counseling Department. Alvina truly enjoyed helping people.

Mrs. Schneider is survived by dear friend, Dorothy Garrett of Bel Air; brother, Howard Bethke of Edgewood; three sisters, Hilda Zink, May Townsley, and Lena Knauff all of Baltimore.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Schneider was preceded in death by sister, Marie Solowski.
