Adele Ellen Owens

Adele Ellen Owens, age 55, of Ruskin, FL, died on June 21, 2009 at Sun City Hospice House in Ruskin, FL. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Eleanor Helen Parole Staniewicz of Joppa, MD and the late Melvin Anthony Staniewicz. As a child, she was the mascot for the Heart Fund. Growing up in Highlandtown, she lived most of her adult life in Harford County, and then moved to Florida in August of 2006. An avid animal lover, she was very active in sports, especially softball.

Mrs. Owens is survived by her husband, Ron Owens, of Ruskin, FL. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Melvin Staniewicz Jr. and her sister, Joyce Jeanette Stalling.
