Shirley Mae Hooper

Shirley Mae Hooper, age 69, of Street, MD passed away on September 8, 2018 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Beatrice (Cooper) Vaught and the wife, for 47 years, of the late Ronnie Cecil Hooper. In the 1980’s she worked at “Remembering You”. She was a loving Mom who raised four children. Growing up, her children’s friends also called her “Mom”. She was known for her cooking and was a very giving person who loved to crochet, enjoyed playing cards especially rummy, and also loved collecting four-leaf clovers. She was baptized at Emmorton Baptist Church and loved her family and God.

Mrs. Hooper is survived by daughters, K. Travis Hooper of Street and Tracey M. Pullen of Jarrettsville; sons, David S. Hooper of Dover, DE and Timothy J. Hooper of Airville, PA;
grandchildren, Meagan Hooper, Joshua Hooper, Reagan Hooper, Kendall Hooper, Cambrie Hooper and Gabriel Hooper.
