Ronald "Bunky" G. Neff Sr.

Ronald "Bunky" G. Neff, Sr, age 82, of Joppa, MD passed away on February 21, 2018 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Francis Giles and Agnes Albertis (Johnson) Neff. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during the Vietnam War. He retired after 27 years with the Baltimore City Police Department and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. A resident of Harford County since 1978, he was a longtime parishioner at Holy Spirit Church. He enjoyed model trains (Lionel and American Flyers), and was a huge sports fan of the Ravens and the old Baltimore Colts. His four-legged companions, his loyal dogs Willow and Otis, preceded him in death.

Mr. Neff is survived by his wife, Kathleen D. Neff whom he married in 1978; four sons, Ronald (Tammy L.) G. Neff, Jr. of Joppatowne, Christopher (Katherine) D. Neff of Australia, Todd (Sara) C. Neff of Joppatowne, Brett M. Neff of California; daughter, Lucille F. Neff of Edgewood; sister, Dorthea A. Spacek of Brooklyn Park; 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, James R., Francis H. and Bernard Neff.

A memorial service and interment will be scheduled at a later date.
