Reverend Carolyn Marie Hilker

Reverend Carolyn Marie Hilker, age 73, of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away on April 15, 2018 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of William Jesse and Hazel Louise (Edwards) Barrett. She enjoyed her family and talking about Jesus. She loved music and spending time with and encouraging people.

Ms. Hilker is survived by son, Joseph Michael Hilker; daughter-in-law, Dawn S. Hilker; granddaughter, Heather Marie Hilker; three brothers, Gary Lee Barrett, David Glenn Barrett, and William Allen Barrett; and sister, Barbara Ann Geiger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Edward William Hilker, and brother, Anderson Wayne Barrett.
