Reba Elizabeth Blackburn

Reba Elizabeth Blackburn, age 91, of Bel Air, MD passed away on January 3, 2018 at Lorien Bel Air in Bel Air. Born in Furches, NC, she was the daughter of Floyd Everett Rose and Sallie (Williams) Rose. She is the wife of the deceased Harford County Home Builder, Charles E. Blackburn and a longtime resident of Churchville. Prior to starting her family, she was a telephone operator for C&P Telephone in Havre de Grace. She loved all children, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds. Her warmth, humor and smile will be missed by all that knew her.

Mrs. Blackburn is survived by her son, Larry E. Blackburn and wife, Cathy, of Bel Air; two grandchildren, Gregory Blackburn of Pittsburgh, PA and Justin Gilpin of West Yellowstone, MT; sister, Wilma Combs of Sarasota, FL; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 7 siblings.
